Masala Spiced Lentil Hummus from Sweet Peas and Saffron

Masala Spiced Lentil Hummus (Vegan + Gluten-Free)
from Sweet Peas and Saffron
From Denise (Sweet Peas and Saffron), the author of this recipe:

This hummus has a fun and exotic twist…spiced with garam masala and curry powder, with lentils instead of chickpeas. It is smooth, creamy, spicy, and completely addictive!

Addictive ... a resounding "yes!"  And lentils are an excellent source of protein, carbohydrates, dietary fiber and many other nutrients, rendering this a delightfully delicious and super nutritious hummus.  As a bonus, this recipe is fast, easy and versatile - we like it as a "sauce" on our favorite vegan burgers and cutlets.
